Reviews and Complaints
Bad experience
I received a call through "Legacy" which prompted me to enter my credit card #. After i entered my info, they said you may start your conversation.
The call was dropped. I checked my card balance and seen they took out $27.79. When i contacted "Legacy", they told me i still owed them $3.21. Don't call them to resolve your issues; they WON'T help.
Call your banking institution. "LEGACY IS THE WORST.
Unbelievable Call Charges
We were stranded in a 'no cell coverage zone' and had to use the pay phones to make two important calls lasting no longer than 5 minutes each. The pay phones themselves have a cost of $2.00 per minute on them for long distance.
Then there was this handy sticker that said, "Use your credit card!" Well we had zero quarters so we used our credit card. When we received the bill for over $30 per call we were shocked. I called Legacy and their rep said that I could have pushed the button to hear the rates. Yeah, we had an emergency and needed to call our family in an area without cell coverage.
That wasn't top of mind. I hope others learn from our mistakes. This company monetarily rapes you while you are at your time of need. Who even uses a payphone unless you are vulnerable.
This company is taking advantage. I wish I had taken a picture of the pay phone sticker. It seemed like such a reasonable offer. No quarters?
Just use your credit card. What a scam!

Overcharged phone call
Rip Off
I accepted a collect call which lasted about five minutes, and I was charged $41.98. I had assumed it was through AT&T.
I tried contacting the company at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2018 and no one answered. I figure their attitude towards their target customer, the inmate population, has generalized to the public at large. They have been successful in ripping off inmates who have few other options than to use their services.
The “operator” who handeled the call barely met the basic standards of civility.
In fact, before I was able to speak to my husband, I thought he might actually be calling from a jail. Their prices are conspicuously out of line, and they should be required to disclose them.
- No info on cost of call on sticker

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD, RIP-OFF & UNPROFESSIONAL.
Over charged
Call to Husband's cell, not an inmate.
Received collect call
I called today and spoke with a customer service rep and all they could do for me is a 15 dollar credit to my card. They tried saying I was given a option to review rates before excepting which was an absolute lie!
I hope nobody ever has to accept a collect call from someone in emergency because this company is money hungry and only wants money!!!!! They take advantage of hard working people who are in a sucky situation....
Let's see if they really credit anything to my account. I work hard for my money and was really just raked over coals....

Call from Airport to Local US number charged $14.81
I have used a booth phone at Chicago International Airport to call my family, There was a sign of 50 cents per minutes but since I was not carrying the coins, I used my credit card. And what 14.81 USD for a minute call I was been charged.
It's too expensive and when I called customer care they said it's a correct charge. I don't know how that can be correct. Isn't so expensive call and that too a local number not any international call. Why places like airport they have such highly expensive services without letting people know and where international people fly from all around the world who don't have much idea if they are going to charge so much.
Don't know how can I get my refund.
Any help here much appreciated. Thanks
